AHHHHH I just finished my final exams yesterday. (it was my first semester, my second semester will start February 1st)

Exams were annoying, especially since I had an awful schedule: 4 exams in 5 days and a paper. I managed somehow to get through them though - now to catch up on sleep and rest.

If all goes well, I'm going to Paris with my roommate on Wednesday! "If all goes well" is because I was in an utter PANIC last night because I lost my travel document (not my passport, thank god) - but I'm crossing my fingers and hoping that the school will be able to reissue one ASAP, so hopefully.....it'll be okay.

In the meantime, I'm going to New York for a day to see some people, then will be back and meet up my roommmate for the flight.

Yay for the break! Finally survived through papers and exams :)

I'm now at Brian's house for the whole winter break, but will be returning to Boston on January 2nd.

Then will have reading period (2 weeks) before exam period. My exams will end early, then I need to decide what I want to do for intercession. I might just end up going to New York or something (which I will for sure, actually).

I had a nice day shopping/eating (omg, compared to dining hall food at harvard...). I got a new watch! I hope this one lasts long - it's silver and a pretty blue watch face, Seiko.

Ok, gotta go. will post more.

I recently accepted my offer to work at Morgan Stanley in New York again this coming summer.

Strange to have it all set in September...I remember last year...no recruiting this year, I suppose.

I pledge to exercise more this year. Hasn't happened yet.

Okay, 報平安信

Safely arrived. San Francisco was fine, my cousins were cute as usual Flight from HK to San Francisco (12.5 hours) was fine, the one from San Francisco to Boston was..bleeeeh. Didn't like it. Domestic flights are worse than international flights - and I found it too short to really REST and too long to be easy (5.5 hours)

So I've unpacked 1/2 (I have TWELVE boxes from storage, Brian helped me) and plan to finish today, hopefully.

I felt pretty sick yesterday - maybe got a slight cold (was shivering), over-exertion (I was jetlagged too- woke up at 4 am and had a looong day) and my stomach felt horrible. Also threw up once

Brian took me to the doctor and he seemed to think it was fine (oh American doctors, no medicine at all), just told me to get some Ginger Ale to drink. So went back to my room and felt AWFUL. I honestly felt like crying (I did a bit, some tears) - it felt so bad. Brian was really good about it though.

I just woke up and I feel fine.

Going to leave for the airport not too long after, then will be just chilling at the airport, hopefully editing some stuff on my laptop, and then boarding the flight to San Francisco.

I'll be going to San Francisco first (14 hours flight) and then staying a night at my Aunt's in Palo Alto before I leave for Boston. I'll arrive in Boston at 7 pm on 9th.

So the reason why I say I feel conflicted is because on one hand, I'll miss my parents and friends here and Hong Kong a lot. On the other hand, I'm excited to get back to school and see my friends. And unpack with all my new goodies (e.g. my down comforter! It is so much better than the one I have at Harvard...clothes, shoes, etc).

I went back to SPCS a few days ago. Saw a lot of old teachers - Mrs. V Wong, Mrs. J Yu, Ms. R Luk, Sister (!), Mrs. M Iu, Ms. L Lo, Mr. SW Law, Ms. P Kwan (she even gave me some accounting books ), Mrs. T Tam, Mrs L Lam...and some others....

It was a bit weird. I went to find Mrs. J Yu coz we were going to lunch, and she was talking to the new bunch of Prefects about the Prefects Initiation Ceremony thing (I'm sure there's a better name, but after 6 years at SPCS, it evades me). Everyone was so like me 3 years ago! haha it seems weird to think that..people studying in the study corner (! remember?) and the staff room, where I still feel like I can't step inside one tiny step...

After many complaints from my friends, I will turn off Xanga Lock..for now..
